HOMEMADE ECZEMA CREAM
http://diyconfessions.com/2012/11/15/homemade-eczema-creamskin-moisturizer/
1/4 cup of oats- contains healthy fats which help to add moisture to soften and repair skin.
3/4 cup of coconut oil- fat in the oil helps reduce appearance of wrinkles without irritation.
Few drops of rosemary oil {optional} - helps in toning skin and removing dryness.
1 tbsp of olive oil- contains linoleic acid, a compound not made by the body, prevents water from evaporating.
Finely grind the oats to a powder/flour consistency and set aside. Over a low heat, melt the coconut oil in a pan until it has a liquid consistency. Add in a few drops of Rosemary Oil {if adding}. Add ground oats and mix until well blended. Now, pour the olive oil into the mixture until blended.
Once all ingredients are mixed, remove from heat and pour in to a small storage container. {It filled up 1 1/2 baby food jars.} Let harden for several hours.
Apply to hands and skin as needed and feel the magic at work! This recipe lasts for a long period of time so enjoy!
